Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha said today strengthening of the small businesses and opening new ones will be his priority once the opposition wins the elections. Basha met with leaders of the Albanian Microfinance Association.

“We shared the concern for the lack of liquidities and the economic crisis, the solution of which, unless acted immediately, will put in a difficult situation the banking system and especially the microcredit institutions, because the incapability of citizens and businesses to pay their loans will increase”, Basha said, adding that the Democratic Party has planned government guarantees for the microcredit institutions to help them in crediting the small and middle companies, while giving priority to the agriculture as well.
