Albanian Premier Edi Rama has repeated his threats to shut down the online media and information channels over the alleged fake news.
“I warn for the last time the news portal and channels that in the conditions and the legal framework of the state of emergency, I will be obliged to intervene forcefully for their closure till the end of this dramatic period if they continue with fake news that spread panic”, Rama tweeted.
“In this extraordinary situation, when every word must be articulated carefully, it’s intolerable to publish charlatanisms of domestic or foreign deliriants, or to deform the declarations and reasonable explanations of the experts. Stop now and immediately”.
