Former Democratic Party MP Orjola Pampuri declared today that Albanian citizens have become poorer every day and 31% of the Albanian families cannot secure the daily bread, clothing and basic needs.

“The poverty has increased 6% compared to one year ago. The unemployment, the bad economy, corruption, crime and emigration are the country’s main problems and five fields where Edi Rama’s government has failed totally”, Pampuri said.

She added that Albania is the only country in the Balkans where the citizens become poorer in an unstoppable way.

“No other country in the region has such a level of poverty, which for Albania is twice the region’s average. Over 65% of the Albanian families cannot afford even a week of vacations”, Pampuri said.

“After six years of bad governance, the Albanians have become aware that Edi Rama feels no obligation towards them, because he bought the power with the crime’s and corruption money”.
