The deputy chairman of the Democratic Party Edi Paloka has made an ironic comment about Premier Edi Rama’s visit to the county of Malësi e Madhe in the north of Albania.

Rama’s visit was cause for tensions as several protesters had blocked the road, but later it was understood Rama had arrived there since last night.

Paloka laughs at Rama’s enhanced security detail, saying he went to Kukës with a helicopter, “passed from the bushes to go to Malësi e Madhe, has fenced the prime ministry and the parliament like they are in Gaza Strip and not in the capital city of a country that is expecting to become an EU Member”.

“When he is in a road trip one has the impression a NATO base is being dislocated, that’s how many vehicles and guards escort him! An army of bodyguards check even the underwear of the ministers before they meet him”, Paloka writes, adding Rama uses a “bulletproof vest even when he showers” and yet he makes the bully with the people that has reached to the surviving limits.
