Secretary General of the Democratic Party Gazmend Bardhi has spoken to the media reporters a few hours ahead of the opposition protests in several counties of Albania. Bardhi said the opposition supporters will not be intimidated by the threats of Edi Rama’s government.

“Edi Rama’s only alternative is attacking the opposition and citizens to protect the power of crime and oligarchs. United we will show to the illegitimate Prime Minister that there will be no elections on June 30”, Bardhi declared.

Concerning the threats to the protesters, Bardhi said “the threats of a political corpse like Edi Rama frighten no one. Free and fair elections are Albania’s only way to Europe. An illegitimate government with an illegitimate Prime Minister that transformed the country in a narco-state within a few years cannot conduct free and fair elections”.
