The police office that harassed sexually a teenage girl has been arrested once the scandal became public, but the mother of the 15-year old said his colleagues wouldn’t take her denouncement when she first went to them.

The parents of the girl watched the videos the officer had sent to their daughter showing him masturbating in front of a camera. They went to the police station, but the effectives there refused to take not and arrest the offender.

The woman quoted the policemen saying she should not try to denounce him because he is a Renaissance man. (Renaissance is the nickname for the Socialist governance of the country and it was the slogan Albanian Premier Edi Rama used during the campaign for the 2013 elections when his Socialist Party came to power defeating the ruling Democratic Party).

Only after the video became public the officer was arrested.
