An Albanian court has decided custody in prison for two Russian and one Ukrainian nationals arrested last week as suspected spies after they attempted to enter in a military mechanic plant in Gramsh.

The court rejected the defensive attorneys’ request for their clients to be released on bail and they will be remanded in custody waiting for their trial.

Svetlana Timofeeva, Mikhail Zorin, both Russians, and the Ukrainian Fedir Alpatov were arrested for trespassing and after they attacked two Albanian guards.

The court sessions was held behind closed doors amidst security concerns.
