The special court for the organized crime has dropped the case against four Albanian nationals, Bekim Protopapa, Ergys Faslija, Xhezair Fishti, and Medat Hasani, arrested in 2016 over suspicions for a terrorist attack in the stadium of the World Cup 2018 qualifier Albania-Israel.
The court declared the four defendants as not guilty. They were accused of “acts of terrorist intentions”, “menace of performing acts with terrorist intentions” and “participation in terrorist organizations”.
The Prosecution requested to drop charges, which was accepted by the court.
