Albanian minister of Tourism Blendi Klosi met today the Spanish tourists that had a terrible experience yesterday in a restaurant in Himara, in the Albanian Riviera, where they were physically attacked by the restaurant owner simply because they did not like the service and left the place. The aggressive owner, now arrested by police, abused them verbally and, after attacking them physically, jumped on their van and punch the windshield till shattering it, all this while the van was in movement.

Minister Klosi knocked on their door this morning holding a bouquet of flowers and apologized for the incident that shocked Albanians probably more than the foreign tourists.

“This morning, with the Spanish family that had a conflict experience in Himara, which is neither in the Albanian tradition of entertaining nor in our culture of welcoming guests”, Klosi posted on Facebook.

“But, as a member of the Galdon family said, one single person does represent Albania and he also appreciated the immediate reaction of the authorities and the direct interest of the government”.
