Albanian Premier Edi Rama is expecting to open the membership negotiations with the European Union, saying the country has made progress which will continue in the coming months. Rama made his declaration after a meeting with High Representative of EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.

“We are looking forward to a positive outcome of the joint efforts and the beginning of the membership negotiations and I am proud of coming here with good results and we’ll have more of them in the coming months”, Rama said.
