Durrës Mayor Vangjush Dako has rejected the opposition claims that he has been wiretapped by foreign intelligence agencies, saying it’s only gossip and he has not been implicated in anything illegal.
"There’s no truth in what is said about me. The opposition wants only to mud our job and obstruct us from reaching our goals”, Dako said today.
Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha said in press conference on November 20 that Mayor Dako had been caught while collaborating with dangerous gangs from Durrës, asking them to buy votes during the elections of June 25, promising in exchange public procurements.
