Instead of campaigning for his own Socialist Party, Albanian Premier Edi Rama anti-campaigned for the opposition, in an electoral meeting with the voters in Sauk, east of Tirana.

As usually in his speeches, Rama attacked the opposition, saying it doesn’t know how to make a state, unlike the Socialists.

“We Socialists are the force that knows how to lead. We are the side that builds a state; they are the side that destroys the state. Give them the offices and they wouldn’t know to lead or maintain the state. The elections of June 25^th are historical, because we either separate two époques, or return the government to them and I assure you that the foundations we built for three and a half years will ruin in three and a half months”, Rama said.

“If you miss the policemen that eat sunflower seeds, then vote for PD. If you miss the universities that give you diplomas without attending school at all, vote for PD. These and many other things will be for sure”, the Prime Minister warned the Sauk people against a possible Democrat victory in the elections.
