The Democratic Party has filed a complaint at the Special Prosecution against Corruption (SPAK) against the Activ1st app launched by the Socialist Party prior to the mayoral elections of May 14, considering it a criminal scheme that violates the will of the voters.

Democrat deputy chairman Oerd Bylykbashi and Secretary for Legal and Electoral Affairs Ivi Caso told media reporters that the criminal report was not immediately accepted by SPAK for bureaucratic reasons, but the Democratic Party will submit it today within the day to the very dangers this spreading app carries.

"Today we filed a criminal report for the application "Activ1st" of the Socialist Party,  through which we report Prime Minister Edi Rama, the ministers, high officials of the Socialist Party, all the leaders of municipalities and institutions who have consumed almost the entire chapter of electoral crimes in the Criminal Code”, said Bylykbashi.
