The Albanian opposition ended its protest outside the parliament with the promise that the next national protest against Socialist PM Edi Rama’s regime will take place on March 8.

Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha said the revolution will go on because the regime has lost its legitimacy.

“The revolution marched today, with our MPs inside the parliament building and the citizens rallying outside, giving a powerful message for Edi Rama’s departure from power. This regime proves every day that it has lost its legitimacy. This is no longer a legitimate regime. This regime is based on elections violation, on robbery of citizens, on violence against them, on crime and drugs”, Berisha addressed to protesters.

“This is a monist regime that has transformed the parliament into e bunker of forbidden speech. This is a monist regime that uses its parliament to pass laws for the benefit of the drugs clans, its clientele, its ministers, and with the intention to hide criminal murders”.

“Ours is not a battle for the Democratic Party or its MPs. This is a battle for the Albanians. Don’t they have the right to ask where did the $223,000 used to pay McGonigal come from? Don’t they have the right to ask who the testimonies that went to testify in Europe to help backstabbing the opposition were? So, what are we looking for? We are demanding investigations, because every Albanian citizen has the right to know these truths. We cannot leave them in the dark”.

“The revolution goes on! The nation protest will take place on March 3, in which all Albanians will unite against the regime that robs them without distinction. Every day with them in power is not a good day”, said Berisha.
