Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha said in a meeting of the Democrat parliamentary group that the Socialist Premier Edi Rama can be ousted from his office only with a revolution.
Berisha accused Rama of soliciting to murder of the Albanian opposition by hiring former FBI senior agent Charles McGonigal to lobby against the opposition in the United States.
“Anyone that thinks that this instigator of the most heinous crime against democracy and pluralism, the elimination de facto of the pluralism, will leave through free elections is wrong. It would be illusive, lying to themselves. This is the truth”, said Berisha.
“The one that ordered the murder of the opposition can be ousted only with a revolution. Because Albania, a NATO member country, has degraded to the most extreme degree. It is the first and only narco-state in Europe. It means that the drug mafia decides. Albania is the country of citizens that are robbed most monstrously”.
The former Prime Minister added the opposition is in its first step of the civil disobedience.
