Democratic Party deputies in the Albanian parliament have left aside their divergences and have joined signatures for the creation of an inquiry committee for Albanian Premier Edi Rama’s involvement in the Charles McGonigal scandal in the United States. Rama was called into an interpellation by the Democrat MPs but he ignored the call and let Minister of State for the Relations with the Parliament Elisa Spiropali deal with it.

The opposition deputies protested and decided to leave aside their grudges and united in their efforts to put Rama into account.

They started a petition for the creation of the Inquiry Committee for the McGonigal-Rama case.
