Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha told the Democrat parliamentary group that what is happening right now in Albania with the release of secret documents from a hackers group is a total collapse of the rule of law.

“Everything, every secret, every private data that has ever existed in the archives of our country about gangs and criminals, is today on the market”, said Berisha.

“This is a very shocking development at first sight. But when you think, and reason, you find that the biggest bandits of this country, the leaders of the country's gangs, are in the parliament, they are in the government, they are in the institutions, so it is pointless to dramatize something that in a normal country would be really dramatic”.

“Today, wanted and unwanted people circulate freely at the border crossing points, as the systems are down. But again, today, their partners are in the parliament, are in the government, are in the institutions. Their assets are crumbs compared to the assets of the ministers, of the Prime Minister”.

“What is happening in Albania is a complete disintegration of the rule of law”
