Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha has made some serious accusations against Albanian Premier Edi Rama today after the incident in a military mechanic plant in Gramsh where two Russian citizens and one Ukrainian were arrested for trespassing and attacking the guards. Berisha called Rama an agent of Kremlin with the Open Balkans project.

The former Prime Minister also recalled Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s request to the Albanian government to shut the borders for Russian nationals which Rama ignored.

“Rama is acting like a Kremlin’s agent in Tirana with the Open Balkans project. His categorical refusal for visas annulment (for Russian citizens) is also a problem”, Berisha told a press conference today.

“I have raised this topic several times in the parliament. Also, it was the only request of President Zelensky addressed to the Albanian parliament. Howerver, Edi Rama refused stubbornly and without any explanation to block visas for the Russians citizens”.
