Former Premier Sali Berisha accused the owner and administrator of a private university of violating the law of depoliticization and transforming his institution in a lair of the state criminality. Though he did not say names, Berisha was referring to Henri Çili, whom he labeled as a “charlatan”.

"Edi Rama has created his own Mafia. There are nearly 50 private and public universities in Albania. No public university, no private university but one dares to violate the law of depoliticization and has become like the former Institute of Marxist Studies of Nexhmije Hoxha”, Berisha said.

“I’d like to say to the owner he’s free to become a member of the Socialist Party and assume any responsibility there. But, transforming the university, against the law, in a lair of the organs of the state criminality will have heave consequences.

I warn and appeal the students to show their place to this charlatan and all those who risk your diplomas to become useless as the first act of the victory of democracy”.
