People close to Verona’s Mayor Flavio Tosi are alarmed from the risk of explosion in the media of a mega-scandal that is happening in Tirana.

Some confidential communications, possessed by hashtag.al, suggest that Tosi’s collaborators are being invested to hide from the public a suspicious purchase contract that has been denounced in the prosecution.

It is about a purchase contract of the Serenissima Company, which is working in the by-pass road segments of Fier and Vlora.

Serenissima (with a capital of €5 millions) has been sold to a company named L.C.I srl (with a capital of €60 thousands), which is owned by the Italian national Giuseppe Latinno, a former convict with a three-year prison sentence for financial fraud in Italy and with an extra conviction in 2015, which bans him from any commercial deal as far as 2020.

From the other hand, lawyer Marco Lacaita, who used to work as a representative for Serenissima, is connected to the purchasing company L.C.I srl.

The work in the by-passes of Fier and Vlora has been interrupted and Serenissima has been sued by to Albanian companies for an unpaid debt of €13 millions.

The Albanian companies (C.A.E Construction and Elite Mine) have denounced yesterday in the Prosecution Office the fictive sale of Serenissima.

But Serenissima is a part of the Italian Corporation A4, where the Municipality of Vlora possesses 49% of shares.

Communications possessed by hashtag.al show that high officials of Serenissima and people connected to Verona’s Mayor Tosi are alarmed by the publication of the scandal in the media, because that would damage Tosi in the coming elections, a few weeks later.

Flavio Tosi is closely connected to Premier Rama and Durrës’ Mayor Vangjush Dako. A year ago, Rama made Tirana’s Mayor Erion Veliaj give an exclusive contract for the capital cleaning service to a mix company which was controlled from Tosi.
