LSI deputy chairman Luan Rama insists there won’t be elections without the opposition, not even for the Municipality of Kavaja.

Rama responded to head of Socialist parliamentary group Gramoz Ruçi’s statement that PS would enter the elections with or without a new coalition with LSI.

“I do not think there’s a single person with a rational reasoning logic in Albania who could think that, in 2017, Albania could hold elections without the opposition. The biggest problem here is that there’s a lack of faith that creates such a situation, but it is a responsibility of the majority to take real steps to return the faith, first to the citizens and then to the opposition, that the elections will meet the standards and will guarantee the actual expression and reading of people’s will. Albanians should be asked to the elections in order to select, not merely to vote”, Luan Rama said for Vision+ TV.

“I think you should never say never in politics, there are always unexploited spaces to find solutions and chose rationally for the country’s good. Albania needs responsibility and not political adventure”.
