Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha and former Albanian President Sali Berisha paid homage to former President Bujar Nishani who passed away on May 28 due to post-Covid complications.

The Democrat chairman said the country lost a dedicated servant.

“The family lost an excellent parent, a husband, noble father. The Albanian State lost on one of its most notable citizens ever. The Albanian society and citizens lost one of their most dedicated servants. In decades, Nishani was one of my most precious partners, with whom I had close cooperation and also close friendship”, Berisha told media reporters after he paid homage to Nishani.

“His memory will last forever”.
