Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha addressed to the Albanian Democrats with motivational tone, calling on them to overthrow Edi Rama’s government.

Berisha said 44,000 members of the Democratic Party are ready for “battle”, stressing that “Edi Rama’s regime is rotten”.

“There is no country in Europe but Russia and Belarus where the human rights are violated more than in Albania. Where is our voice? We must ask this question to ourselves every day. We must leave behind the apathetic attitude the Democratic Party has held until recently”, Berisha said in the meeting of the Democratic Party National Council that will vote the new party leadership.

“The Democratic Party was refounded to be a party of the national interest. Do you know any other country where the national interest is kicked more and worse than here by Edi Rama? 44,000 Democrat members expect from us to oppose to Edi Rama’s antinational policy. They are ready for battle, they are only waiting for your leadership”, Berisha addressed to the participants in the National Council.

“There is no greater mission than rising and shorten this government’s days. Who thinks this is a powerful regime is wrong. It’s true it has corruption money, it murders people in the precincts, but the bigger truth is that this regime is rotten”.
