The historic leader of the Albanian Democrats Sali Berisha is running for the Democratic Party chair for the first time since his resignation in 2013, after the loss in that year’s general election. Berisha shared a video with his followers in Instagram captioned “returns are always successful”.

“The digital citizen and the Democrats never stopped fighting for a free, prosperous, modern, European Albania! Together we’ll win”, Berisha wrote. The digital citizen is the name the former Premier uses for citizens that denounce government’s corruption by sending him private messages.
