“We’ll make Edi Rama acknowledge us, and acknowledge us well! You’ll see”. This is a promise that the historic leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha extracted from his last press conference and published on his Facebook page as a message to his supporters.

Berisha was asked on a press conference one day earlier how would the opposition change the Electoral Code to make possible the emigrants to vote when Edi Rama does not acknowledge you (the Committee for the Refoundation of the Democratic Party that was recognized by the Court of Tirana as the legitimate leadership of the party - Syri) and also when you have rejected in several case any communication with the Socialist majority.

Berisha’s response was short and concise: “We’ll make Edi Rama acknowledge us, and acknowledge us well! We’ll do it! You’ll see!”
