Former Albanian Premier Sali Berisha called for the expulsion of the Russian Ambassador from the country and also the withdrawal of the Albanian Ambassador from Moscow.

“We attended with attention the address of the President of Ukraine, Zelensky, of the country that is being a martyr for the freedom of Europe and entire world against the barbaric aggression of Vladimir Putin”, Berisha told media reporters after Zelenky’s address to the Albanian Parliament.

“What ashamed me more today was Edi Rama’s dual attitude concerning the barbaric aggression. From one hand he condemns the aggression, and from the other promotes the Russo-Serbian project of the Open Balkans that opens the way to the Russian influence in the region and expands the Serbian influence”.

“Edi Rama’s invitation to the Russian tourists was absurd. Just imagine: murderers, rapists, Cains, that, after having committed massacres, come and fill our beaches to rest and recreate. This is a heavy insult to Albanians”, said Berisha, adding that Zelensky’s request to restrict Russian tourist was right.

“I call for an urgent ban of Russian citizens to enter Albania. I request the expulsion of the Russian Ambassador from Tirana and also the withdrawal of the Albanian Ambassador from Moscow, the reduction to a minimum of all the politic and diplomatic relations with Russia as a testimony of irreconcilability with this aggressor of a free country”.
