Only a few minutes after the historic leader of the Albanian Democrats Sali Berisha said US Ambassador to Albania Yuri Kim was pressuring the Appellation Court it announced it had accepted the complaint of Democrat MP Enkelejd Alibeaj against the decision of the Court of Tirana to recognize the decisions of the National Democrat Assembly of December 11, 2021. The Court of Tirana also recognized the Commission for the Refoundation of the Democratic Party as the only leading authority. The acting chairman Alibeaj, appointed by Lulzim Basha before his resignation, said he would appeal the decision.
