“Who’s next?” is a question many are asking after former Albanian Minister of the Interior Saimir Tahiri was sentenced to 3 years, 4 months in prison over abuse office. An answer to the question was offered by Chairwoman of the Socialist Movement for Integration (LSI) Monika Kryemadhi.

She said not it is the turn of Tirana’s Mayor Erio Veliaj.

Kryemadhi declared Veliaj cannot avoid being punished from justice no matter how hard he tries to stall the process.

"After Mr. Tahiri it is Mr. Erion Veliaj’s turn, no matter how hard he tries to stall and push his position in relation to Tirana’s incinerator, thinking the big international institutions and partner countries will back him. Do not forget, one year before his resignation, Mr. Tahiri too was a very important person and was received at the White House”, Kryemadhi told Albanian television Report TV.
