The historic leader of the Albanian Democratic Party Sali Berisha said in an interview with Syri TV the primaries system that was used for the first time on Sunday will be perfected on the future, also with the help of American experts. Talking to host Çim Peka, the former Prime Minister said the candidates that emerged victorious from the primaries will be supported also from the allies and confirmed the agreement with the Socialist Movement for Integration (LSI) and other parties for the mayoral by-elections of March 6.

Berisha criticized US Ambassador Yuri Kim for meddling in the internal affairs of the Democratic Party, flagrant violation of the Convention of Vienna, and of the Constitution of Albania.
