Director Communication of the Committee for the Re-Founding of the Democratic Party Floriana Garo responded to dismissed chairman Lulzim Basha’s declarations that Sali Berisha is preparing to attack the party headquarters with traffickers.

"MP Locksmith (a nickname used recently for Basha after he ordered the change of door locks at the party offices - Syri) has understood that the countdown for him is nearing its end. Dismissed, abandoned, and despised from the Democrats, his declarations look increasingly like two drops of water like those of (Socialist) MP Balla who is his interlocutor in the Socialist Party after the dismissal”, Garo wrote. “Today Lulzim Basha speaks for Sali Berisha with the language of Edi Rama’s dogs, because this is his last remaining mission”.

“In eight years, while Lulzim the Locksmith stomped on the Democrats’ sacrifices for bargains with (Premier Edi) Rama, Albanians haven’t seen anyone fight and denounce the narko-state, narko-traffickers, and the organized crime more than Sali Berisha did! Even more ridiculous are the allegations of money laundering when Lulzim the Locksmith is actually the only politician accused of money laundering, for payments up to $800,000. That investigative file, along with the Toyota Yaris case, left him Edi Rama’s hostage. Also, it is the mega-affair of the Durrës Harbor the bait that makes him go against the Democrats’ will”, Garo wrote.

She added that in a few days Albania and the Democratic Party will dissociate from “Lulzim the Locksmith’s corrupt and failed opposition”.

“There is no bunker, door lock, or latch that will stop the Democrats’ will from liberating the opposition from the hostages and bargains”, Garo wrote.
