Historic leader of the Albanian Democrats said in a press conference today at the Democratic Party headquarters that today the work will start for the implementation of the decision taken in the National Assembly of December 11.

The Assembly decided the dismissal of chairman Lulzim Basha and it was ratified one week later, in a referendum with all the Democratic Party members, the majority of which voted in favor of Basha’s dismissal.

“The work for the implementation of the decision of the Assembly of December 11 for the Re-Founding of the Democratic Party must begin immediately. Until March 22, all the party structures must transform into structures of the Democratic Party members that will decide with their free votes for their leaders”, Berisha said.

“This is an intensive work, but the Democrats’ passion, energy, and dedication is bigger than ever. The Albanian Democrats are aware they are part of an unstoppable revolution of vital importance for the fate of democracy in Albania and of the society in general. They are ready at any time to accomplish any mission or task that is requested for the progress of our cause”.
