The Committee for the Re-Foundation of the Democratic Party, consisting of 29 members, arrived today at noon in the party headquarters.

Escorted by members and supporters, the historic Democrat leader and initiator of the movement for the re-foundation of the party, Sali Berisha, said the MP Lulzim Berisha has time till December 18 to reflect.

Berisha assured they would not try to enter Basha’s office by force.

“We have no business in Basha’s office. We’ve come here for a meeting and the Member of the Parliament Basha must think and reflect over the decision of the most extraordinary Assembly in the history of Europe, where an Assembly of members triumphed spectacularly”, Berisha said.

“I enter here today as one of the members of this Committee that functions with collegiality, as an equal among equals”.

Berisha also commented the lawsuit of discharged Chairman Basha against the Committee members.

“That was a signature of shame, another shame of MP Basha that sued his colleagues in Edi Rama’s and his Prosecution Office. There is no more undignified act”.
