Çim Peka, host of the Çim Peka Live TV show on Syri TV exposed Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha as a man of many faces and the controversy between him being chairman of the party and his goals.

Basha has ignored calls from the base for the convocation of the National Assembly, following the expulsion of former Chairman Sali Berisha and has insulted Berisha’s supporters referring to them as “scum”. However, Berisha’s tour in the country and signatures of the petition for the National Assembly has shown a massive support from the Democrat base.

Peka exposed Basha’s double standard.

“He considers them scum, but wants to be their chairman. He does not want their votes for the convocation of the National Assembly, but wants their votes to rise to power. He wants the party base to win in the (general) elections, but does not recognize the base’s power to decide who chairs the party. He considers them as anti-American, but wants to lead them like a philo-American”, Peka wrote on his show’s page on Facebook.
