Armando Prenga can run again for the parliament in the coming elections. This possibility was given to the man with many criminal precedents in Italy by the Central Electoral Commission (KQZ), chaired by Denar Biba.

KQZ did not take a decision to proclaim as not valuable the mandate of Armando Prenga. The Commission did not look into the request of the General Prosecution Office, which had notified the deputy had hidden a sentence from an Albanian court.

Intentionally delaying the decision-making from Friday and failing to take one today, KQZ allowed the Socialist deputy to resign, avoiding a decriminalization record in his file, which would stop him from running again.

Had KQZ interrupted his mandate as the Prosecution requested, based on the Decriminalization Law, Prenga would automatically be banned to run again at least for the next ten years.

Now, he will be free to put his candidature again in the June elections. Having no record of decriminalization in the Special Form, no law can stop Armando Prenga in his efforts to be in the parliament again.
