Former minister of Justice Ylli Manjani has ironized the Albanians’ approach to the national holidays. Despite celebrating the two national days of 28 and 29 November and playing the patriot’s role, the countries they choose to pass these days are exactly the countries the former occupying countries.
Manjani says it is absurd to see how Albanians celebrate the Independence Day in Turkey and the Liberation Day in Germany.
“How absurd! We celebrate the independence from Turkey in Turkey. Turkey remains a permanent touristic destination for us…
We celebrate the liberation from Germany by seeking asylum in Germany.
So, we are not serious about it”, Manjani wrote in his Facebook page.
