Albanian President Ilir Meta has responded negatively to the request of seven opposition deputies that required the declassification of documents of the meeting of the Council of Security of November 11, 2016.

Meta explained their request was not in accordance with the Albanian legislation.

The deputies of the Democratic Party and the Socialist Movement for Integration motivated their request with the high sensitivity about the serious situation of the drugs traffic and the implication of high officials in it, especially after the scandal of the Habilaj file.

The letter to Meta was signed by deputies Flamur Noka, Isuf Çelaj, Xhemal Gjunkshi, Myslym Murrizi, Ervin Salianji, Luan Rama and Endrit Brahimllari.
