Thousands of Albanian citizens rallied on Wednesday afternoon to protest against the raise of prices, in peculiar against the abuse with the fuel prices.

The Tirana police detained a number of protesters.

Other rallies are expected to take place today. In Tirana, the citizens will rally outside the prime ministry, whereas in Mirdita the citizens have called for protests in the Road of the Nation highway, that connects Durrës harbor with Kosovo.
