The Central Election Commission (KQZ) has appealed to all Albanian citizens eligible for voting to verify their names on the voters’ list, as well as the location of their polling station and to renew their identification documents just 95 days before the parliamentary elections of April 25.

According to the KQZ, the control of the voter list and the location of the polling station can be done by clicking on the section "Voters List" on the website of the KQZ www.kqz.gov.al, or that of the Ministry of Interior www.mb.gov.al.

If you find irregularities in your data, or want to change or add data to the election extract, report it immediately to the Registry Office in your Administrative Unit, the Election Commission added.

“The voting process cannot be conducted without a valid identification tool on election day. Therefore, KQZ calls on the citizens not to leave it for the last moment, but to go to the offices of the ‘Aleat’ company, to apply for the renewal of the identification document.

In the elections of April 25, 2021, it is aimed at implementing the electronic voter identification, so a valid identification document is very important for your participation in the voting.

Voting is a right, but also civic responsibility. Therefore, verify the name on the voter list, your polling station and renew your identification document”, highlighted the Central Election Commission among other things.
