The technical ministers of the Democratic Party (PD) have officially presented their resignations to Prime Minister Edi Rama today. They were appointed before the June 25 elections, as part of the agreement between Rama and Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha for a caretaker cabinet that would ensure free and fair elections.

The members of the cabinet that have stepped down officially are:

Interior Minister Dritan Demiraj

Minister of Finances Helga Vukaj

Minister of Justice Gazmend Bardhi

Minister of Education Mirela Karabina

Minister of Health Arben Beqiraj

Minister of Social Welfare Xhulieta Kërtusha
