President Bujar Nishani has issued the decree deciding thus for the voting day for the parliamentary elections of 2017.

With a decree that enters in power immediately, the President has decided that the voting day will be 18th of June 2017.

The full text of the decree:

“In accordance with the article 92 letter “gj” and article 93 of the Constitution of the Republic of Albania, and to the article 9 paragraph 1 and 2 , of the law no. 10019, date 29.12.2008 “The Electoral Code of the Republic of Albania”, changed,

I hereby decree

Article 1

The Elections for the Parliament to be held on Sunday, 18th of June 2017.

Article 2

This decree enters power immediately
