Former Prime Minister of Albania Sali Berisha welcomed the verdict of the Hague Tribunal to jail for life Ratko Mladic, aka the Butcher of Bosnia, who was found guilty of genocide and atrocities in the Bosnian war.

"The conviction for life of one of the most barbarian butchers in the history of the Balkans, the infamous general Ratko Mladic, is a victory of the international justice. Sentencing this executioner is somehow a consolation for the families of hundreds and thousands of the Serb genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, Berisha wrote today.
