Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha received in a meeting in his office Freedom Party Chairman Ilir Meta to talk about the coming mayoral elections of May 14. The meeting of the two opposition leaders lasted about an hour.

Meta spoke to media reporters after the meeting, saying it served for the coordination of work prior to the mayoral elections.

“It’s the eve of the electoral campaign and these meetings are normal”, said Meta. On May 15, most of the mayors will belong indubitably to The Change and the United Opposition, as well as the overwhelming majority of the city councils that will belong to the opposition”.
