Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha congratulated today the win of the right-wing coalition in the general election in Italy.

“In Italy, our traditional allies Giorgia Meloni, Matteo Salvini, and Silvio Berlusconi won”, Berisha said in a press conference.

“It is a historic moment for Italy. Meloni, with the votes of the Italian citizens, will be the next reformer Prime Minister of Italy. The victory of Mrs. Meloni and her coalition is a victory of the most accomplished conservative values of free societies, a victory of freedom, family, patriotism and fatherland.

Giorgia Meloni is an ardent Euro-Atlantic, she has supported fully the resistance of the Ukrainian nation for freedom, has condemned the barbaric Russian aggression in Ukraine, and has stood by NATO’s and US side in this war.

The values she trusts in are the values that are growingly triumphing in Europe. I’d like to wish Mrs. Meloni big achievements in the post she was voted for by the Italian citizens”.
