Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha said hackers that attacked Albanian government platforms and online service pages are still in control.

Last week, Albanian TIMS system was taken under hackers control and Berisha claimed this can be done only as an inside job, by recruiting an Albanian officer as agent.

Berisha said Kosovo is also under cyber attacks and many of them are from digital platforms in Albania.

“Absolutely, that's true. Experts from Kosovo said it. I wasn’t present in the experts’ meeting, but one of them said in the media all indicators say the attacks come from the region, and one of the most important is from the digital platforms in Albania. I’m not saying it is our specialists doing it, but those who control our platform. Korean, Russian autonomous groups do it every day. They wreak havoc in the without the adequate protections. TIMS has nothing to do with e-Albania, and one can interferes there only by an officer. Yes, by recruiting agents. How can TIMS be attacked? It is a closed system, but this is a hay state”, Berisha said.
