Freedom Party Chairman Ilir Meta blamed the Albanian government for the low budget for eductation. The former President of Albania said every time the government touches the budget the education funds go to the concession due to the direct involvement of government officials in them.

“The education budget, the lowest in the region, speaks about the failure of the promise for it. Every time the government touches the budget, the first to be meddled with is the budget of education and its fund go to the concessions where the government is directly involved. A government that does not see education as priority cannot have youth and its future as priority. The budget for education must not be touched even in time of crisis”, wrote Meta.
