Albanian President Ilir Meta expressed his condolences for the loss of his predecessor Bujar Nishani who passed away today at the age of 55 due to post-Covid complications.
President Meta’s message:
“With the deepest sorrow and grief I learned about the passing away of President Bujar Nishani. My most heartfelt condolences to His consort Odeta, children Ersi and Fiona, and His family for this great loss.
President Nishani will be remembered always as a personality with the rare values of a leader with integrity and vision.
His contribution to Albania and democracy will always be remembered respectfully.
May the memory of President Nishani be unforgettable!
May He rest in peace”!
