The newly elected Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha said in the parliament today Albanian Premier Edi Rama and Tirana’s Mayor Erion Veliaj are the two enemies of the free speech in Albania.

“The narko-state is a serial oppressor of all the freedoms and in particular the freedom of press. The aggressive Stalinist attacks of the government members against the criticizing media are e common thing”, Berisha said.

“The enemies of the free speech in Albania are two. One is called Edi Rama who, in addition to the violent verbal behavior, in addition to insults, absurd punishments of the journalists because of the questions they ask, created the Ministry of Misinformation, inspired by the autocratic regimes. He prepared the legislations to punish all the non-obedient online portals, sanctions and pressures the media owners if their editorial lines do not fit those of the government”.

“Erion Veliaj is just as much an enemy of the free speech. He is the ugliest version of the official against the free speech, journalists, and media owners. They both are products of George Soros’ Open Society. They are creations of the Open Society which by definition should have been the opposite”.
