The Socialist Party MP Alqi Bllako has relinquished voluntarily from his parliamentary mandate opening the way to his arrest, requested by the Special Prosecution against Corruption (SPAK). SPAK had requested the authorization from the parliament to take into custody Bllako who is accused of abuse of office in relation to the contract of the Fier waste incinerator. The parliamentary Council of Mandates had planned to gather today at 18:00 to decide over SPAK’s request, but Bllako resigned and put himself at justice disposal.
