Thousands of Albanian citizens are protesting in Tirana today against the uncontrolled raise of prices but Premier Edi Rama reacted by saying he would do nothing about that, in a time when the country and the entire Europe is facing the consequences of the war in Ukraine.

“As for the people’s power, I am in this job exactly thanks to that power which has nothing to do with a minority that insults, curses, abuses shamelessly, accusing non-stop for stealing, just like e thief that connects anything to stealing”, Rama wrote.

“Not everyone is a thief or charlatan; some are different, so go ahead with your protest because my job is to protect the people from the war consequences, not the one that speak in delirium on behalf of the people”.
