The conversations tour of the historic leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha, dubbed as “Foltorja” (a place to talk) has revealed a massive support from the youth for the former President and Prime Minister of Albania. Pictures and video footage from Berisha’s meetings in different cities as well as conversations in his office with young men and women confirm it.

It was also confirmed by a survey shown on Monday evening on the Opinion TV show on the Albanian television Klan.

According to the survey, Sali Berisha has as twice more likes than Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha on the social media.

“Over 10,000 Facebook users reacted to Basha’s and Berisha’s posts. 63.7% of 502,000 reactions were for Berisha, 36.2% were for Basha”, the survey’s expert Blerim Gjeladini said.

It is a known fact the social networks are used massively by young people and the difference in Basha’s and Berisha’s one is very important to understand their impact on the youth.
